4. If you believe your computer has malware on it, stop using it. Make sure you run an anti-virus scan and back up any important files that you have.

5. You need to isntall a firewall as well as a pop-up blocker.

6. If you find that your system has been damaged, run a system restore to an earlier date.

7. Hackers are smart; they know what they are doing. Do not let a hacker take advantage of you.
